Seán Denvir“The campus is a very important addition to the set of attractions that Ireland offers overseas companies. It offers high-quality accommodation of varying sizes, with excellent services in impressive surroundings beside Shannon Airport. The fact that complete fit-outs are possible for clients within 6-8 weeks of deciding to locate is particularly noteworthy,”
International aircraft leasing company, Aldus Aviation Limited, is relocating its global head office to Westpark Business Campus.
The Irish-based company specialises in providing operating leases for the Embraer E-Jet range of aircraft (70-120 seat) produced by Embraer, the world’s third largest aircraft manufacturer after Airbus and Boeing. Aldus is the 3rd largest Regional Jet lessor in the world after GE Commercial Aviation Services (GECAS) and BAe Asset Management. Aldus also works with GECAS under a comprehensive Lease Management Agreement.
In addition, Aldus Aviation provides a range of independent advisory services in relation to strategic, commercial, operational and equipment choices. Through its aircraft fund, the company is also able to offer funding opportunities in Embraer E-Jets to investors and lenders.
Clients include leading airlines in Eastern and Western Europe, the Middle East, Australasia, Latin America and Africa. The company also has subsidiary and representative offices in the UK, the U.S. and South Africa.
“The company decided to move its headquarters to Westpark because the campus offers a prestigious, world-class base from which to serve global markets,” explained Philip Bolger, Chairman, Aldus Aviation.
“The fact that a cluster of successful aviation-related companies is rapidly emerging at Westpark was another important factor in our decision,” he added.
